Itsy Bitsy Yoga for BABIES is a calming and nurturing yoga class designed to help babies unfold their motor skills, sleep better, feel happier, and digest with ease. This class contains dozens of unique yoga postures specifically to soothe and support the development of a baby’s body.
During the BABY Itsy Bitsy Yoga class, the baby is mostly lying on their tummy, back, or in a parent’s arms. For parents, this class gives you the special time necessary to bond with and learn about your baby’s emerging personality. Most of the yoga we do in Itsy Bitsy Yoga® is for the child, but you will learn breathing and relaxation techniques as well as practice some yoga for yourself. (No yoga experience required.)
Itsy Bitsy Yoga® for TOTS with a Parent/Caregiver
Ages: crawling to 3 years
Itsy Bitsy Yoga for TOTS is a supportive, fun-loving and active yoga practice. Learn dozens of Itsy Bitsy Yoga postures just for tots. In a time when babies naturally become busier, it is important to continue building the parent/child bond and make our tots happier and more confident in their moving bodies.
IBY's proven techniques playfully teach tots yoga postures while they are standing, sitting up, walking, and jumping. Parents get to do a little yoga too. (No yoga experience required.) Experience the shared joy when Tots move into yoga poses on their own!
Radiant Child Yoga Classes for Preschoolers
Ages: 3 to 5 years
The yoga we learn in this class is dynamic, bursting with imaginary animals and stories which capture the children, who in their delight have no clue how healthy and relaxed they are becoming. One could almost call it "creative movement", except that it contains all the essential ingredients of yoga-breath awareness, mind-body fitness, and the oportunity to experience the "self-within".
We will learn dozens of new poses, sing songs and play games in a fun, supportive environment while at the same time enjoying all the wonderful benefits that yoga offers.
